I love to love

Some interesting photography. Almost makes me want to take my camera out, until I remember I lack any sort of artistic ability beyond interface design.
:iconpaparazzibash:
I don't believe that at all!
:iconechod:
Pfffffffff...
Alright, I suppose you're right there. I just have a shitty camera and need to pay off my notebook before I can pick up a SLR.

I've been eyeballing a sexy Nikon. I used my friend Jen's cam last weekend and fell in love with it... though, I'll admit was too afraid I'd get carried away with messing with the settings that I didn't really have enough play time with it. Hmmmmm- maybe if I work 24/7 (quite literally) I'll be able to afford to pay my bills and acquire one of these as well!
:iconechod:
I've been considering a Nikon D40 or D40x. I'm a bit up on the air on which, and it's going to be some months before I figure out what I'm doing.

I have trouble justifying it, though. My current camera isn't very good --- always seems like the ISO is off, so I take shit pictures. As a result, I don't like taking pictures with it. The battery life is horrible as well, and the wait time between shots is a bit long for me. Just makes for a not pleasant experience.

Might need to borrow the D40 from the Post-Journal and see if I can't convince myself that it's truly the camera rather than me.

...now, to find a macro lens.
